These are required for all competing vehicles.

| 4 or 5 point safety harness for all passengers |
| DOT approved helmets, no bicycle or skateboard helmets |
| Vehicle mounted fire extinguisher |
| Recovery points front and rear |
| Quality and reliable winch with good cable or rope, you provide your own winch weight |
| Tires DO NOT have to be DOT |
